Did you know that, at present, there is only one shelter dedicated to the LGBTQ community in South Africa!
Where can you turn if you are alienated by your family and community for expressing your sexuality? So many young people find themselves on the streets or working as prostitutes or moving into less than perfect relationships, just as a means to survive.
Kunye Rescue and Training Centre has aligned ourselves with the one and only shelter, who are extremely experienced in the care and treatment of LGBTQI and are ready to run our shelter on our farm!
We will run the training facility and help kick start these people in new careers and/ or qualifications - all in an uplifting, caring and dignified environment.
